City Calendar
This division is responsible for Code Compliance and Code Enforcement within the City. Code Compliance Officers work to ensure that properties and structures within the City comply with all municipal, zoning, housing, and building codes.
Municipal Code
The City of Grand Terrace has ordinances that:
- Regulate the care and maintenance of private properties
- Protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public
- Enhance the appearance of the community
The Code Enforcement Office educates the community in preventative maintenance and encourages residents to maintain their property to keep the city clean and beautiful.
Report a Violation Mobile Homes
On May 28, 2008, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 238, relinquishing the Mobile home Parks Act to State Housing and Community Development. This ordinance will go into effect on July 3, 2008. The City of Grand Terrace staff will have no Title 25, Mobilehome Parks Act enforcement responsibility in mobilehome parks after June 28th. The City will only be responding to fire and police activities.
